Dear Tom, I'm sorry John and Emma who? I got you email but I'm not sure if
I'm the right person. I'm looking for Edwards, Coates, Nell and Douglas'. If
you have any information I would greatly apprieciate it. My great
grandfather, Earl Edwards served in the Spanish American war. I have a
certificate where he purchased a burial plot in the whitehall cemetery lot
number 359, Also I have his marriage certificate to Pearl Lavern Coates
witnessed by her mother Peoria Coates and A.E. Edwards dated September 5th
1899, in Patterson Illinois. Also in June of 1904 he purchased a cemetery
plot in Roodhouse in Greene Co.( the N.E. quarter or No. 85 in the Fernwood
Cemetery, signed by John Roodhouse, and notary Chars Bates. I think Pearl had
a sister who married a Peebles and then a Fry but I'm not sure. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. I'm in california and it's a long way from
Illinois. Thanks Nancy
