I just received the okay from Eileen Cunningham, author of the Patriot Souvenir Edition, to continue with the cd rom project.
She also gave me permission to work on any of her other publications.

She also asked me to remind everyone that she still has many copies of the printed book, but you can contact me direct for those details.

Some are asking exactly what is the Souvenir? It is a 76 page book, soft cover, that was printed for the 75th Anniversary of Carrollton and Greene County, IL. 1896.
It has a city plat map; a history of the area; alittle about lawyers, (doesn't every thing?) Ferry crossings, sawmills, lumber yards and other commercial items of interest; hotels, doctors, the county jail; county politics, schools, banks, etc.; some well-to-do homes in the area; railroad info.; the county fair, stables, and newspaper editors from their past.
