I am searching for descendants of James and Ellen Dougherty Gallagher
who lived in Morris from 1863 until approximately 1890. They had the
following children; John, Robert, James Anthony,Frank, Mary, and
possibly William. Most of the children were born in Ireland. Mrs. Ellen
(Nellie) Gallagher died on 10 April 1886 and was buried in "the Old
Catholic Cemetery". The funeral director was S.E. Massey. It appears the
rest of the family moved on to Chicago soon afterwards. I would like to
know if there were any other burials to the same plot that Nellie was
laid to rest and their date. Or if the records to the Massey Funeral
Home are still available. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions
for my search. Thank you,
