I had the same problem startin out. I tried to download the doc's
without the viewer though, seeing how they were in ".tiff"
format, I couldn't see why my photo software wouldn't read them.
I got your error message above.

I have deduced that their "reader" is added on to the browser,
for looking at on the web. So the document, now is actually not
being downloaded. It's just enabling your browser to look at it.
There was something in the installation of the "reader", about
printing... I'll have to look for it. I don't know why the
browser won't print it!!

I have know problems viewing the doc's. When the "password
dialogue box" popped up, I just entered my username and password,
for my "ISP", no problem after that. They only give you so much
time in there, than you have to close the page, and start over. I
was in there about two hours...

PS... The image reader, will allow you to magnify the doc... just
like your photo software...
