It is my understanding, and I could be wrong, but Hamilton is a county that
has it's records kept only in the courthouse. The state archives does not
house any of those records by microphilm or any other way. But Lovella has
been trying to get the records on microphilm but there isn't the money to
that. So as long as the records are kept there in the courthouse, they will
not be available in any other way except to get them from the courthouse.
Maybe we will get lucky and it will be aproved to go ahead with the filming.
I forget the cost that it will be but the money isn't available at this
time. So I guess the job of this is up to us!! If we all work together we
can get those records online!!
