McMAHAN, McELVAIN, DOUGLASS, YATES, SCOTT, LUNSFORD, COOK

I descend from Reuben McMAHAN and his wife America Ann McELVAIN through their
daughter Nancy Hannah McMAHAN who married William Sylvester SCOTT.
America Ann McELVAIN was the daughter of David McELVAIN and Lucinda COOK.

Trying to find supporting documentation that Stephen Alexander McMAHAN and
his first wife Mary "Polly" LUNSFORD (married in Lawrence County, OH) were
the parents of my ancestor, Reuben MCMAHAN.

William Sylvester SCOTT's parents were Meander SCOTT and his second wife
Harriet Tressie DOUGLASS. Harriet was the daughter of Henry DOUGLASS and
Mary YATES. Henry DOUGLASS' father was Alexander DOUGLASS and I am not sure
who his mother was.

Meander SCOTT's parents were W. Daniel SCOTT and Rhoda LANHAM. Rhoda
LANHAM's parents were Richard LANHAM (died in Ohio County, KY ca 1806) and
her mother was Rachel, possible maiden name of GATES.

My husband descends from David GREATHOUSE through his son John L. GREATHOUSE
and his wife Catharine HOOVER. They married in White County, IL, 15 May 1820,
