Has anyone out there ever done courhouse research on a for-hire basis? I'm
looking for someone who might be willing to research COOK deeds in Hamilton
Co. for me.

Basically, I'm looking for a listing of any COOK surnames in the
grantor/grantee indexes - not a copy of every single deed, but a
transcription of COOK entries in the index. I've written to the courthouse,
but they won't Xerox the index for me. I guess someone is required to go
there in person and transcribe it by hand (does this make sense to anyone?)

Anyway, please respond to me privately if any of you might be interested.
It may be years before I'm able to get back to McLeansboro in person (I live
in Pittsburgh, PA).
