I don't think Felty used all the Hamilton Co. newspapers for his book. He has
a list in the beginning of the book of the newspapers he used for each year.
If I remember correctly, it also stated that for some/several years if an
obituary appeared in one of the Ham'l. Co. papers, it was not reported in a
"rival" paper. I know that I have found obits in Ham'l. Co. papers that were not
included in Felty's book.
By the way, does anyone know if any libraries that were mentioned as
alternate newspaper sources (on microfilm) will send them out via inter library loan?
The Illinois State Library only has few, if any, dates for some years.
