I have addit.marriage & death dates/places of marriage & burial on this
family-it crosses into my lines in abt. 4 places-but I really love how this
one Daily family seems to include the roots of half of Hamilton Co.!
I would like to hear from any of you re: corrections, as it is a compilation
of records I have obtained from many Hamilton Co. descendents-and only that.
I am also very interested in the COMPTON family name, which appears to have
been Mary "Polly" Compton Maulding's maiden name, and also connects to my
lines.

This is my first posting on this site.

All of the people below was born or lived in Hamilton County, ILL

My grandmother was Ida HOOD. Ida’s parents were Anderson Oroville HOOD & and
Mary Amanda MANN. Anderson parents were Benjamin HOOD & Nancy DAILY and Mary
’s parents were Elijah MANN & Nancy HUNTER. Nancy Dailey’s parents were John
DAILY & Polly MAULDING.

Ida Hood moved from Hoodville, IL with her father to Benton County, AR,
married William P. McCrady and moved to White Bead, OK and then to Noble, OK
in 1905. She had 2 sons & 5 daughters.
Anybody on this site related to these people?

Carol, I cannot answer your question, but I got the following info off the
Internet:
"2. William DAILEY, b. ca 1800, d. 24 Aug 1874, m. (1) to Harriett HUGHES,
(2) 16 Aug 1827 to Hannah HUGHES"

Your William was My Nancy's brother.
