Questions from a former McLeansboro resident:

1. Does anyone know of or remember a flood in Hamilton County
somewhere around 1935-40? Some trees may still remain that bear a
high-water mark to record the depth of the water. (Was it Haw Creek
that flooded so badly??)

2. Does anyone know the location of the quarry that provided the
stone for the foundations of the McCoy residence and Cloud bank
building?
