Here is what I have in the Hardin Co Obit book by J Gray.
Mrs Amanda (cummins) Cowsert,85 . D. 4/33/1935 buried Cowsert Cemetary.
Dau. Mrs Theodore Sheldon Bro. John Thomas Cummins od Summerset. ( quiet a few
more Cowserts listed)
Nora Sheldon listed on pg 14 as dau of Elizabeth Bryan dau of Fannie and
James Decnt. Nora lived in Eichorn.
Lillie Sheldon Dau of Martha Francis O'Hare who was dau of Samuel Ray b.
Jackson Co Tenn . 8 other children listed in Ohare's obit with husband etc.
In the Hardin Co newspaper abstracts 1871-1879 I find the following.
John , Corinth item " While delivering potatoes at Shetlerville last week,
John Sheldon came very nearly getting badly mashed up. Just as he reached the
warehouse his horses became frightened and jumped from the embankment(?
OhioRiver) some 8 or 10 feet high . Niether himself nor team, were seriously
hurt."
