Thanx for the response, Wanda.
I always believed that the old Pisgah church was right on or near the
Hardin/Gallatin border. Some of the old Blacks told us where they thought
it might be... we looked without results. By this time, all foundations,
etc would be buried. Sad.....
Libby? What pictures of the Blacks? I have pics of John and Johanna
(Stetson) Black. Do you have them?
No, I have no more info on the Gentry's. Still looking for the parents of
Alexander, b. 1829, in Spencer Co. IN. I recently received the calander
from Hardin Co. Gen soc. of the Roundtop school and had WONDERFUL pics of my
Gentrys. I will forever be grateful to the one who submitted that photo to
the calendar.
