Don Johnson,
If I could correspond with your friend in Rosilcare, please pass along my
e-mail address to her.
I have ancestors by the name of Lacy/Lacey buried in Vinyard #2. I have not
been to this cemetery, I was told by my aging grandmother who lives in
Golconda that the cemetery was on Lacy Hollow. Her description of where the
land my ancestors lived was close to the Old Furnace and over the hill from
the Sycamore School House. I believe she said it was a mile to both the
school house and the Old Furnace. My grandmother also said the last time
she was at the cemetery was in the early 1970's when she placed new
headstones, after that the land was purchased by the government and public
access was no longer possible.
I have found Karbers Ridge on Topozone maps, and the distance looks too
great to be the same cemetery. However, if like your friend says, there are
Vinyards buried by Rosiclare and over in Karbers Ridge, we may be talking
about two or three different cemeteries.
If anyone can shed some light on this I would be most thankful.

HI!! I got this information from someone who lives there in Rosiclare.
Sounds like she might know something that can help you. I emailed her
and this is the reply I got:
One of the old Vinyard cemeteries is located in Rosiclare. That's where
my
grandmother is buried. My dad's mom. The graves are unmarked except
for
a
stone that says Vinyard. I would like to know who is buried in that
lot.
I
think there are 6 graves there. Behind this lot there is a couple of
other
Vinyard stones. There are also the Karbers Ridge Vinyards. I'm not
sure
which set you are looking for. I'm not sure where they are buried.
Sally
