I am sure that some of you have been trying to get your hands on this book.
I know I have and I just found out from one of my cousins that we just need
100 orders before they will print it. The trick is that they have to have
the orders BEFORE they will print it. So if you are interested contact them
sooner rather then later. The following is the letter one of my cousins got
recently from the Publishing company.

To make it a bit easier go to
http://www.turnerpublishing.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryId=15 the book
$49.95 which may be what has slowed some of down, but think what a great
book it would be to have. I know I have several family members that are in
the book and really hope that some of you put in an order.

Remember that Hardin County was not a county until 1939, to see how the
counties were broken down you can check out
http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilcumber/ilctybnd/ your people may be in the book
(I really don't know) if they were in the area of Hardin County even when it
was Gallatin or Pope Counties.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting,
Liesa

Here is their response:

Dear Sir,

We appreciate your enthusiasm for this book. However, we have only had a
couple of people request to be put on the back order list for this title. To
make a print run of a title we usually need somewhere around 100
commitments.

The title was originally published in 1988. Most likely a new updated
edition would be published rather than a reprint of the old title. If you
have any contact with a historical or genealogical society in that area who
would be interested in this process, please have them get in touch with us.

If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you,
