Anyone know Harry Holloman 1881-1928? I took a pic of his headstone in
case
I found that he was related - didn't write which cemetery in Pope or Hardin
Co. It's a single stone with "Father." I haven't found him in my family??
Betty,
I have a Lavina / Vina HOLLOMAN, d/o James and Lorinda (Davis) HOLLOMAN who
married 4 Aug 1856 IL Martin Madison SMOCK.
Lavina was born 23 Sep 1839, Pope Co., IL, died 28 Apr 1898 Hardin Co., IL
Martin was born 13 Sep 1836, AR, died 24 Mar 1925 Hardin Co., IL
Both buried Sowd Cemetery, same tombstone
Children: James Henry, Sarah Elizabeth, Jeremiah, Emma, Simon P., John,
William, Birdella, Mary Catherine and Albert.
At Lavina's death there were four living children: Henry, John, Albert and
Mary C.
Apparently James Henry was called Henry. Surely, he was named after
someone. James being the name of Lavina's father, the Henry must have some
association.
I do have further James and Lorinda HOLLOMAN vital details.
Best, Hugh
