I am the decendent of Viola Dixon and Joseph Morgan Brown. Both are buried
in Carman IL. Wondering if she is one of the Dixons you are researching.
Viola was my great-grandmother. I would be interested if you have any
information on my Brown lineage. Viola died when my grandfather was a child
and until just recently, we had no information about our family. To the best
of our knowledge, after Violas death, my grandfather, Fred LaVerne Brown,
was sent to southern missouri and worked the farm of a couple who lived
near Centerview MO. Fred died in the 1940s and other than what I have found
on the internet, we know little. I found a family tree on Roots Web, by
David Pendry and that is the first link I have found to my family.
