I don't know for sure if this is the same Catharine McKinney; however, she is listed on the 1870 Jackson County census as Catharine Farmer, b. 1845, PA as a domestic servant. Then in the 1880 Jackson County census she is listed as Charles Cutrell's wife, b. 1848, PA. Either way she would have been rather young to have married James Skelcher in 1856. But I suppose it is possible.
