"Brainstorm" I looked it up.
From the IL. 1870 census Index (mostly heads of households)
12 "Ora" - of which 3 were female and 9 were male
Where did they think they were born?
4 - IL.
2 - OH.
2 - IN.
1 - KY.
1 - IA.
1 - MA.
1 - N.Y.

I don't remember if any were HARPs.

I have certainly seen Ora as more a female name...

(though I always thought Otho was a girls name also -
since my great-aunt Otho PHILLIPS b. 1897 in
Moores Prairie Twp., Jefferson Co., IL was such;
but I have now seen Otho as a male and a female name...! )
