Kay,

I'll add mine to the mix. In our family we had an Aunt Ora and also Aunt Ona.
They were called Orrie and Onnie. I never came across it as male, although
my husband's father was named Harry Edna Christian after his mother, Lillie
Edna. Perhaps some of those male Ora names had mothers or grandmothers named
Ora.
