Subject: [ILJEFFER-L] Letter from 1872

I have in my possession a letter dated Feb. 15, 1872 addressed to a Miss
Ella Frasier, Belle Rive, Ill. The envelope is a very small odd 4 and
1/2 inches by 2 inches with a 3 cents postage stamp. The letter is
signed by R. L. Eaten, M.D. Two other names mentioned in the letter
are Andrew Cook and Frank McClure. This letter was stuck behind a
drawer of some furniture I got from my aunt who is now deceased. I
don't know if this was someone she knew. I have not found a connection
to my family of any of the names here and would be happy to make contact
with someone who is a descendent of one of the four.
