I don't have a problem with the pictures, they're great!

I have Sprint Broadband Direct and Earthlink which is always on and no need to
dial up. Maybe it's due to the quality of your dial up phone lines if you don't
have a "broadband" type service (ie DSL, cable modem, ISDN, etc)
