Does anyone know if James C. Davis was related to Reece Davis b 6 Feb 1790
in NC d 18 Feb 1854 in Jefferson Co, IL.
Reece and his wife Martha show up in the 1850 Jefferson Co, IL census with
him being age 60 and wife Martha age 40 and several of his younger children.
His son Elijah Davis b. 6 Mar 1810 in NC d bet 1861-1865 in Jefferson Co,
IL and wife Susan Taylor also show up on the census with their children
including Squire Davis my great great grandfather (who I have a picture of).
