Hi Kay; Darned if I know!!!!! It could be possible. "My" William PATTERSON had a son Edward J. PATTERSON b. 1833 in Dekalb Co., TN. I have records of another man (who I believe to be a younger son) Benjamin F. PATTERSON, b. 1835 (or 1843) in Jefferson Co., IL. At this time I have no knowledge of other siblings, I wish I did. I recently located a transfer if property held by William and his wife Nancy PATTERSON, selling 2 parcels of land to Nancy's brother in TN in 1839. I believe they were preparing to leave for IL. I have the wives and marriage dates and burial locations of Edward and Benjamin PATTERSON and children of Edward.
Does any of this sound familiar to you??? Do you know where William Howard is buried???
Let's compare notes and see if we can put something together. Maybe, ...... just maybe we are related <grin>.
You can contact me off list if you wish, at . Where are you located? I am in Calif.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yvonne

Yvonne, does William PATTERSON have a son, William Howard PATTERSON, who
married in 1877 to Martha E. WILLIAMS?
