I only have White and Jefferson Co in Illinois but since my family was from White co when the 1925 tornado came through I thought I'd share this with you. It is a poem written by my Great Aunt who passed away in 1933 from TB at the age of 20. I'm going through her old letters, etc. Thought this a very interesting poem.
Storm by storm
They march by
Wind, rain, floods
From a blackened sky
Two bright flashes
Send terror into hearts
Trees lend to earth
or a roof rips apart
Storms, storms.
So fast they come
Each one after the other one
