Surname: Spencer, Hammel, Seago, Beeman, Hughes, Prough, Bruce

my Great Grandfather was William A Spencer of Fieldon. He was born in Jersey
County either 1861 or 1862. He married Janie Hammel in January 1890 and
shortly had three children; Ruben C., Roy F. and Faye. William was the
Supervisor for the Richwood township for a number of years and had at least
three sisters, Mary or Mae that married a man by the name of Seago, Lucy,
who married a Hughes and Ella that married a Beeman. It seems a brother
Frank or Franklin was also a part of this family.I do not have information
on Frank as I believe he died before Great Grandfather and his sisters.
Janie Hammel, born in Hardin County, At the time of her death 11/1/26,
she was survived by two brothers; Peter of Alton, IL and John of Humbolt,
TX. Also by a half sister married to William Sanders of Jerseyville and
two half brothers; Henry Godar of Wood River and Louis Godar of Detroit.
Her step father was Leon Godar of Jerseyville. I think she was a member
of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Fieldon. Beyond that I have limited
information and would appreciate anything you might have on other possible
relations.
