I am trying to locate the graves of James Tecothic IVERS (died 17 October
1840, probate papers on file in Jerseyville courthouse) & his wife Ann
MITCHELL (married in 1830 & presumably died before 1840). James owned
land in Otter Creek Township (purchased in 1834,1835, & 1840). I noticed
that Hinson - Black Mound has 13 known burials from 1840-1879, & Hamilton
Parsonage, Noble, & Union - Salem all have graves before 1840. There may
be others as well. Does anyone have a list of names of individuals
buried in these cemeteries?
