Jackie, thanks for your help. Here is my problem!!! My guy Joel Andrews
came from MICH. There is a Joseph and a Robert who on the Greene Co.
census, 1830 came from Mich. I need to hook my Joel up with Joseph- from
Mich. There is a Joseph who married Sussanne Ellis father of John from Va.
Joseph bought property (1830 ) in Jersey and Macoupin Co. BUT I do not know
where Joseph came from!!! John /Va. was born 1-30-1815. Joel was born
Mich. 1822. I know , Joseph, Sussanne, John/Va. left VA to go to Ky. and
then in 1830 they are in Macoupin/Jersey. Now I don't know about you but if
I were Sussanne I would be putting my foot down on another move, much less to
Mich, and then to ILL. NO WAY. I know that these moves are not planned,
it's more of a need and opportunity. BUT knowing human nature as I do.... I
can't buy Joseph, Sue, and John being my connection even though there were
other children with them by the time they got to ILL.
John/Va. and Martha's children are documented but Joseph's are not except for
John. The reason being his mother was an Ellis, and the Ellis' seem to keep
better tack of their familles better than the Andrews'!!
Anyway- for me I could put this puzzle together if I knew that the Joseph,
that shows up with John and Robert was the same Joseph married to Suzy
Ellis/Va.
By the way I am depressed because my library, Florida, decided not to carry
any information on ILL. "not that much of a need" excuse me!
Welp, thanks so much for your time. I do appreciate it.!!
