Does anyone have knowledge of where the southern city
limit line was in 1909 for Jerseyville? My
gr-gr-grandfather George Pruitt died at his residence
in 1909 which was "a mile south of town" per th small
death announcement article. I think I have a rough
idea as to where the residence might have been but
would like to confirm as close as possible the
location. I'm not sure if he owned the residence and
land as he lived in various locations in the county as
well as in Pike Co MO for a time.
