Hi, in your list of surnames, you have Penning listed, and asked no information, are you not looking for them? I am inquiring due to the metion of them and the mention of Alton. I am married to descendant of Alton, Ia. Penning and have been doing genealogy research about a year and have not gotten to Penning side yet. But do have some information. Maybe I can help or we can share. Grandfathers name was Ed married to Anna, has a brother named Andrew. Let me know what you think.
