I'm curious to know if there was a lot of predjudice back then towards
Millerites/Adventists there in the county? Some of my ancestors journeyed
there, I believe, to escape religous persecution in NY. I've yet to get any
info about them from your source, I have recently obtained quite a bit of info
on them from other sources. The leader of the clan was John Nathan Myers and
my guess is that he came there around 1830-1835 with his wife and 12 children.
I have been in contact with a cousin or two there and apparently there are
quite a few cousins still in that area.
