I am looking for parents or other relatives of John Edward BOWDEN, born
about 1838 in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. He enlisted in the Union Army in
1864, then married Sarah Jane Lyons in 1877, Grant Co., WI, and married Jane
Devers Elder in 1884 in Prairie du Chien, Crawford, WI. He was also known
as Edward Bowden.

Can anyone help me find his family?
