Would there have been a paper operating in 1861 through 1897 that would have published obituaries for persons that died in Jo Daviess Cty?
Prince Annable d. March 1861 in Pleasant Valley
Ruth Annable (nee Howland) d. July 26, 1870 near Stockton
John Appleby d. Nov. 8, 1888 Pleasant Valley
Darius Myers d. Sept 14, 1897 Pleasant Valley

Prince and Ruth are my GGgrandparents and John Appleby their son in law. Darius is there Grandson in law. Audrey
