The Andrew Jackson Belk that I heard of was from Indiania. He and a General from St Louis laid out the city of Paduka, KY. I believe that Chester Belk lived in Green Island, IA . He was born around Massbach, Il. Clyde Belk of Sabula, IA was my Father. He was the son if Henry L. Belk of Massbach, Il. Most all of Andrew Wilson Belk's children were born around Massbach and Derinda Center. Andrew Wilson father was John Belk Of Lancaster, S.C.
Have you heard of Levi Belk of Green Island? He and my Dad were first cousins.
