Hi Greg,

I'd sure like to find a connection for Haywood Simmons below
who was my G Grandmother's second husband (even though
it implies 1st below). I don't believe they had any children but
my family lore says he was a very nice man. I visted my
"Grandma Simmons" as we called her many times since she
lived in Herrin where we did. Her home was on the main drag
thru Herrin, Park Avenue. Her house was imaculate until the
day she died. Apparently Haywood died before I was old enuf
to know him... so that would have been before 1955. My siblings
are older and they remember him fairly well. She had one of
those "grandma" rocking chairs and that's where she was most
of the time.
