Charlotte Eliza Hudspeth and Archibald Benjamin Loless had at least one
daughter that shows up in the Johnson County marriage records. I have looked
at the marrriage record, it is plain enough:
BURNS, WILLIAM T LAWLACE, FRANCIS JOHNSON 11/14/1880
I also have an old Hudspeth.
Giles Carter Hudspeth, son of Ralph Hudspeth and Mary Carter, was born in
Henrico County, Virginia 1727. Giles died 11 Sep 1796 in Surry County, North
Carolina, at 69 years of age. He married Elizabeth Bradford. Elizabeth was
born in Granville County, North Carolina 1730. Elizabeth was the daughter of
Philemon Bradford and Mary Parker. (Philemon Bradford and Mary Parker were
my 6th great-grandparents via my mother -- I keep looking around Johnson
County for the Finleys, Powells, Sniders and Meadows of my father's family.)
