The HOGG family is connected to my GILLESPIES. Below is some bare-bones
information that I ran across sometime in the past. Unfortunately it must
have been years ago as I neglected to add the source information, but it was
probably a family group sheet with no documentation...so don't know how
accurate it is. I wonder if the TABITHA HOGG here is yours or a cousin with
the same name...different husband anyway.

1. JOHN LOUIS1 HOGG was born Abt. 1790 in ?, and died Aft. 1860 in Johnson
Co, Illinois. He married SARAH GILLESPIE, daughter of THOMAS GILLESPIE and
CATHARINE BEARD. She was born Aft. 1796. Notes for JOHN LOUIS HOGG: Served
in the Civil War with Company I 120th Illinois Infantry. More About JOHN
LOUIS HOGG: Burial: Aft. 1860, buried Johnson Co, Cemetary, Vienna, IL.
Religion: Friendship Baptist Church, Vienna, IL. Residence: Johnson Co,
Illinois.


Children of JOHN HOGG and SARAH GILLESPIE are:

i. TABITHA2 HOGG, m. DAVID OLIVER.

ii. JAMES HOGG.

iii. GEORGE HOGG, m. CASPER.

iv. POLE HOGG.

v. FRANK HOGG, m. MARTHA CANTWELL.
