Floyd, I'm a native of Johnson County and saw your post on the Internet. Peggy Smoot lives in Simpson, Illinois -- Johnson County -- and has done a great deal of genealogy. I think she doesn't check into the internet, though. White her snail mail at Ms. Peggy Smoot, Simpson, Illinois 6299_. That's not an exact address, but Simpson is a town of less than 100 people, and it will get to her. Tell her you heard about her from Katy Waters.
