Yes, I seem to remember Dude , as well. My father was Loren Reynolds, son
of Floyd and Corda. He grew up in Simpson, but spent his married life in
West Frankfort where I grew up. I recall one evening around '52 or '53, a
knock came at the door. I ran to answer it and two men were outside saying
that they had come to get my daddy for "stealin' chickens". I ran to tell
Mom, and she replied, "Oh, it must be someone from Simpson!!!" I believe it
was either Sam or Dude or both.
