I hesitate to ask since it seems you are somewhat reluctant in doing this.
But your help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried to get a copy of the
book by PT Chapman thru inter-library loan thru the WI Historical Soc & they
said no.
The SandS index has the following PORTER names:
Addie
Alice
Arle
autie
Carrie Beauman- curious to know which Porter she was married to, can't find
her on the 1920 census
Elizabeth
John
robert
S.F. and
William
If you can't find them the its no problem, but I do appreciate this and
thanks well in advance

I hesitate to offer this, BUT I would love to help. I've tried to help
others before .... sometimes without much being accomplished... perhaps
this time it might work.

I have a copy of Chapman's History of Johnson Co., plus I have the index
for it.... I also have Parker's History of Johnson County, plus the index
to it.... I have a copy of the Biographical Review of Johnson, Massac, Pope
and Hardin Counties....plus the recent book, Johnson County, IL History and
Families.....copyright, 1990.
