A Jacob Jones born in Illinois abt 1837,
if he is connected to your Jones Family
came to Navarro County, Texas and is
on the 1870 census there. I am just
entering this just in case it might
help some of this Jones family
in their research.
Our York family was in Illinois at the
same time and also came and settled in
Arkansas from 1840 until 1859
when they came on to Texas
and settled in Navarro County, Texas also.
