Since we are on the subject of the history of local
churches, would anyone know about a local minister of the
Gospel ( I don't know what denomination he preached ) who probably lived in
Johnson County, Illinois.
His name is Howard HALL. This is the only name I know about him. My
grandparents always told me that Howard HALL
was a minister of the Gospel. I have no information about him and that is
why I need your help.
He married Nancy Jane MODGLIN but I have no date or place of marriage. They
had two twin daughter, one of them is my
Great-grandmother and her name is Cynthia Ann HALL, born in Johnson County,
Illinois on June 20, 1882.
Apparently, Howard died a young man, because Nancy lived on to marry two
more times before she passed away.
I can't find the place of burial of nether of them. I do know where Cynthia
is buried because I was at her funeral.
I am sorry I can't provide much in the way of more details.
