Hi Kane Genies!
I use the American Local History Network (ALHN) as a supplement to RootsWeb
goodies when looking deeper into sources of the "whole picture", and I've
struck gold a couple of times with county histories and individual bio
profiles. The very least I've found are the titles and dates of histories
and publisher information. I highly recommend looking through the various
pages of this rapidly growing online resource! I don't know if Lori will
find anything on her Presbyterian congregation or Moore family, but you never
know. There may be those who might do a lookup within the texts of what is
transcribed onto the Web site. Never hurts to email and ask.
The main page is here, from where you can link to any available state,
county, city, Twp., etc...:::::::

The Kane County, IL site is here:::::::

Hope this enriches the research of many, as it has for myself!
