Sharon,

I have found loads of info at the Gail Borden library. They have
newspapers, census, city directories, etc on microfilm/fisch(?) and many
books. I would try and schedule an appt with one of the historians so they
can acquaint you with what is available.

I have yet to use some of the other places people were recommending just a
month ago on this list so I cannot advise.
