Have been pouring over 1910 Census for Kane County, which includes Elgin, Aurora, St. Charles, etc. My grandparents lived in Aurora and/or Batavia during this time frame. However, much to my surprise, neither my grandfather nor my grandmother's family are listed anywhere in Batavia or Aurora. Can anyone hazard a guess as to why?
