Even though a person died in the Elgin Hospital there should still be
the death record at the county clerks office. I have a death certificate
for my Grandfathers half sister who was there because of senility.
Also, anyone who visits Kane Co. to do research, the Clerks Office will
let you do research on births, deaths, and marriages up to 1914 or 15,
whatever the cut off date is.
