The next monthly meeting of the Kane County Genealogical
Society will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2004 at 7:30 p.m.
in the first floor meeting room of the Geneva History Center,
113 S. 3rd St., Geneva.

The guest speaker for the evening will be Mary Turner,
representative of the Illinois Preservation Council,
presenting Preserving Your Family Heirlooms and
Collectibles. Ms. Turner will provide guidance to ensure
family heirlooms survive to the next generation and beyond.

All are welcome to attend.

At 6:45 p.m. the office of the Kane County Genealogical
society will be open for those who would like to use KCGS
library materials, ask questions regarding family history
research, or submit a query to the Master Every Name
Index. Office hours are regularly scheduled for Thursdays
and Saturdays 1-4 p.m.

The mission of the Kane County Genealogical Society
(KCGS) is to gather and preserve regional historical records
and serve as a county-wide educational resource for those
interested in genealogy. For more information about the
