I will write a part of what I have at this time. I have JAMES M. FOSTER (I didn't know his name was MADISON), B. 1808, D. 1894; married to ELIZA COMBS, b. 3 July 1818; d. 25 Mar. 1847. The children that I have are: JOHN M. FOSTER, b. 10 Sep 1842, HENRY C. FOSTER, b. 06 Nov. 1843, and HARRIET, b. 18 Sep. 1845, d. 14 May 1871; spouse JOSEPH E. FOSTER, his parents not entered. I do not have the name of HARRIET THURMAN, but if HARRIET FOSTER (first wife died at the age of 26, it is quite certain he would have remarried.) I have WILLIAM D. COMBS, b. ca 1827; d. 03 Jan 1887. ELIZA's father and WILLIAM D's father was JOHN MILTON COMBS, b. 05 Mar 1792 in Greenbriar, V. JOHN MILTON COMBS and ROBERT W. COMBS were sons of ZUR COMBS and MARY ANN CREEK. Zur Combs was born 1760, and died 1828 in Highland Co., OH ROBERT W. COMBS was my g.g. grandfather through his son also named JOHN MILTON COMBS, John's daughter, AMANDA E. COMBS MILLS, FRED P. MILLS (my father). I have some holes in my COMBS information, but I have an abundance of it. How are you related to WILLIAM D. COMBS? We are related through ZUR COMBS.
