Hi Cindy-
We made a memory, Stacy and me. And, each time I have corn this winter I
will
remember the experience- how happy that little boy must have been!
I have only begun aquiring material on Knox Co.-and have copied some from
the Knox Co. website-but, the personal stuff is wonderful.
My dad, Forest Owen LUTZ, was born in Hermon, 1903, later moving, I think,
to Rapatee, then to Fairview. His grandparents, William Henry and Mary LUTZ,
lived several miles south of Maquon-close enough for him to ride a bike to
their home. I haven't seen the 1900 census for the Maquon area-have you?
They may have been neighbors. The 1880 census shows your Cora A, age 6,
living
next door to Jacob EMERY, who had a son, Phillip, who had a dau., Abbie, m.
Trell LUTZ-we have discussed our THURMANS haven't we? I found a conflict
concerning my Sarah DAVIS m. Benjamine THURMAN-must check on that.
