Thank you very much for the look up. Unfortunately, there is no match. I do
wonder if there could be a connection to Pitt D. Rogers. My Rogers family
lived in the Knoxville area beginning in 1844 and spent the rest of their
lives there. Charles died in 1898 at age 99 and his wife died in 1898 at age
86. His wife was Eliza Phillips who was born in England. Charles was born
in Sharon, CT. I have not been able to find the names of either ones
parents. They were members of the Knoxville Presbyterian Church.

RODGERS,JAMES T.
Farmer, son of John and Eliza (McMurdy) Rodgers of Ireland, he was born in
Peoria Co IL on 24 Aug 1838. He was reared on a farm and educated in the
common schools. He came to Knox Co in 1867. He married on 4 May 1859. He
has devoted his attention to farming and dealing in stock. he is a member
of
the Presbyterian Chursch. Democrat. P.O. Farmington, Fulton Co.

ROGERS PITT D.
Farmer, he was born in Norwich, New London Co CT on 18 July 1818. He was
educated in the district schools and was brought up on a farm. He came to OH
in 1845 and to Knoxville in 1853, where he has filled the office of
Alderman
for several terms. In 1849 he married Effie Ewalt who bore him one child.
In 1855 he married T. P. Hibbard by whom he has had 4 children. He is a
member, and has for years been an officer, in the Episcopal Church. He
resides in Knoxville
ROGERS, THOMAS W.
Dealer in agricultural implements, seeds, coal and wood. Galesburg
ROGERS, S. W.
A farmer, he is the son of Edward and Elizabeth Rogers, the former of
Maryland, the latter of Virginia. S. W. was born in OH 15 Mar 1819.
He attended the common school. He came to IL in 1837. He married Jerusha
Hand and they have 5 children. Greenbacker, P.O. Yates City
