hi everybody.

I´m a swedish guy looking for relatives - and I hope this is the place to
be...

Of course Knox County is of interest.

A few years ago we found a old letter containing a "Amended Petetion for
Probate of Will" - what that means!
This confirmed the histrory about an aunt emigrating to America.

Her name was Helen C. Niles or Helena Kristina Johannesdotter and was born
1849 in Sweden, emigrated somtime during the 1860`s and married 1870 to a
David P. Niles (this I found out today...thanks Tom Lundeen) and they had a
son Henry 1871-1871. She died 1924-06-20 in Sparta Township, Knox County,
Illinois.

The "will" mentioned a nephew Carl A. Johnson - and he is my main interest.
Cause it doesn´t seem to be another child than Henry.
Carl A. Johnson had his residence in Wataga, Illinois in the " will".

This is about all I know, and I´m hoping for some help.

I´m more than willing to send you a copy of the "will" if that would make
things easier.
